Five years ago, I walked into Wigmore Presents as a delegate and experienced something very different. In an industry that can sometimes feel fast-paced, commercial and increasingly transactional, Wigmore Presents felt thoughtful, intelligent and calm. It felt like a room full of people who genuinely cared about medicine, education and each other. This year, standing on that stage as co-chair for the very first time was incredibly special. Having attended and presented over the last five years, stepping into the role gave me a completely new perspective on the meeting, and these are my reflections from seeing it through a different lens.
From the outside, people see the beautifully curated faculty, the iconic venue at the Royal College of Physicians, the polished programme and the exceptional production. But seeing the conference from behind the scenes as co-chair, what struck me most was the intention behind every decision. Every speaker is carefully considered, every session is designed to add value, even the titles of the talks are curated so the programme feels purposeful, cohesive and educational from beginning to end.

One of the great strengths of Wigmore Presents is its breadth, alongside core clinical topics in injectables, complications and anatomy, the agenda thoughtfully incorporates sessions on skin health, regenerative medicine, longevity, nutrition, and practical business content that speaks directly to running a successful clinic. In recent years, the conference has brought back a dedicated business agenda, recognising that commercial insight are as important as clinical excellence to long-term practice success. This year also saw a partnership with BAMAN which included a nurse-led educational agenda, further broadening the perspective and making the weekend truly inclusive across roles, backgrounds and clinical expertise.
This mix of agendas reflects how multifaceted modern aesthetic practice has become. It is not about hierarchy or status; it is about creating the strongest possible educational environment by combining experience, fresh perspective and genuine passion for the profession. That balance is one of the reasons the atmosphere feels so progressive, collaborative and authentic throughout the meeting.Every speaker is carefully considered, every session designed to add value...
As clinicians, we are navigating an industry evolving at extraordinary speed; patients are becoming increasingly informed yet overwhelmed, and practitioners feel that too. What Wigmore Presents does brilliantly is create an environment where clinicians can pause, think critically, challenge ideas respectfully and genuinely learn, not simply consume
information, but truly learn, and this year’s programme reflected that perfectly. The regenerative medicine sessions opened up important conversations around cellular health, mitochondria, immune profiling and the future direction of aesthetics and wellness medicine. Yet the discussions remained grounded, evidence-aware and clinically relevant rather than sensationalised, providing insights that could be applied straight back into practice. One of the things I value most is that Wigmore Presents allows space for nuance. Speakers are encouraged to debate and different opinions are welcomed; there is room for reflection and evolution in thinking, and that openness builds trust in a way that few other conferences achieve.
The anatomy sessions this year crystallised everything for me; co-chairing the masterclass, with Professor Sebastian Cotofana joining by video, showed how much work goes into making complex content feel effortless; from dissection videos of the periorbital region to midface, nose, perioral area and chin, each section was followed by panel discussion. You could sense the care in pacing, knowing when to dwell on high-risk areas rather than moving on for the sake of the schedule. Watching experienced clinicians taking notes and asking questions made it clear that Wigmore Presents is designed so that the newest injector and the most established clinic lead can both leave with something new, something that is extraordinarily difficult to achieve and does not happen by accident.
Observing delegates across the event revealed one of the most rewarding aspects: the atmosphere is genuinely collaborative, where conversations extended beyond lecture theatres, with peers sharing challenges, lessons learned, and practical solutions. Youngerinjectors felt comfortable approaching senior faculty, and the room had a warmth and collaboration that can sometimes feel absent at larger meetings. Even the exhibition space reflects this philosophy, with carefully selected exhibitors integrated into the programme, enabling conversations informed by what had just been learned rather than disconnected networking. Commercially, this approach is smart: clinicians are selective about where they invest their time, energy and money, and most cannot attend every event.
People are looking for depth over volume, substance over spectacle and community over ego. Wigmore Presents understands this. Delegates are not simply buying a ticket to lectures; they are investing in the calibre of the faculty, the relevance of the education and the insights they can bring back to their clinics. The programme’s sequencing, debate and practical application ensure that the learning experience is cohesive rather than fragmented.
Each year, the programme evolves without losing its identity. Boutique, curated, science-led, education first, this is what sets the conference apart. The faculty, agenda design and thoughtful sequencing ensure that practitioners leave inspired, informed and equipped to apply insights immediately, whether clinically or commercially. One of my favourite moments this year was looking across the audience during reflective sessions and seeing the engagement; delegates were focused, not rushing between rooms, genuinely absorbing the content. In many ways, the most valuable education comes from thoughtful, well-crafted experiences.
From a practical and commercial perspective, the value is unparalleled; in three days under one roof, you are alongside faculty shaping clinical practice, the brands defining the next product cycle, and peers tackling the same challenges you face. The discussions, insights and shared learning provide clarity, perspective and guidance that can influence your practice, patient care and clinic strategy far more than piecemeal learning throughout the year.
For those who have never attended, my advice is simple: do not underestimate it. It may not be the largest conference in aesthetics, but it increasingly feels one of the most important. For those who have attended previously, you will understand why so many of us continue to return year after year.
At its core, Wigmore Presents is driven by a dedicated team working together united to inspire and empower clinicians. Every detail, every session, every conversation is crafted to create a space where learning, curiosity, and collaboration come alive; and I am honoured to be a small part of that vision. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this unique experience, and I look forward to seeing you there next year.
